How do body oils work?
Body oils are used to moisturise and nourish the skin. Luonkos oil cakes contain antioxidants, superfoods, vitamins and fatty acids. All our handmade body oil cakes are vegan and pH neutral. The cakes contain no water, no preservatives and no microplastics.
How to use a body oil cake
Always use the cake with clean, dry hands.
- Warm the cake between your palms until the oil starts to release.
- Spread a small amount over the body in circular movements.
- Let the oil absorb for a moment before dressing.
Which body oil cake is for me?
The Glow range has two body oil cakes: the Glow body oil cake and the Glow shimmering body oil cake.
The Glow body oil cake contains antioxidants, vitamins and good fatty acids. Rich cocoa butter nourishes dry skin. Grapeseed oil, high in vitamin E and antioxidants, absorbs quickly. Jojoba wax protects the skin from external stress. Cranberry oil carries a number of fatty acids that matter to skin. Finnish barley starch gives the texture its velvet feel and leaves a matte finish. The natural minerals in the cake give skin its shine.
The Glow shimmering body oil cake gives skin a light golden tone while moisturising. Sea buckthorn oil contains vitamin A. Genuine essential oils create the scent. Peppermint essential oil and aloe vera cool the skin after sun. Synthetic mica was chosen for the shimmer cake because natural mica mining carries significant ethical problems. The mica used contains no plastic and no nanoparticles.
Powder deodorants
The fruity powder deodorant works against odour on underarms, feet and body. Contains forest microbe extract. No aluminium, no bicarbonate. Citrus scent.
Natural powder deodorants, for the whole body
Besides the underarms, powder deodorant can go between and under the breasts, on the groin, thighs and between the toes. Dust it straight onto the skin with a large make-up brush, or mix a small amount with a drop of water and rub it in.
The powder deodorants are vegan and contain no water, preservatives, palm oil or microplastics.
With its mild citrus scent, the fruity powder deodorant helps you stay fresh without irritating the skin – no aluminium, no bicarbonate. Bicarbonate is a common ingredient in natural cosmetics too, but for some people it irritates the skin.
The powder deodorant suits normal skin, children included. It works against odour. Being multi-purpose, it can also be used like talc on the feet or between the breasts.
The deodorant contains Finnish forest microbe extract, which helps support the skin's microbiome.
The 100% natural formula contains oat, kaolin clay, barley starch, zinc lactate and magnesium. The clay absorbs moisture. Barley starch makes the product easy to spread. Zinc lactate and magnesium work against the growth of odour-producing bacteria. There are no oils in the deodorant, so no oil marks on clothes. The fresh, fruity scent comes from the natural essential oils of lychee, palmarosa and peppermint.
