Spring is here – and your skin knows it. Winter's cold, indoor air and heating have been drying the skin for months. Now that warmth is returning and the light is increasing, it is a good moment to make one small but meaningful change to your routine.
The good news: you do not need ten new products for spring. You need three of the right ones.

Why does skin change in spring?
In winter the skin has had to cope with cold, dry air and the dryness of heated indoor air. In spring the challenges change: street dust and pollen start to settle on the skin, the sun's UV radiation strengthens, and swings in temperature can irritate sensitive skin. On top of that, a heavier winter routine can start to feel like too much.
In spring the skin needs three things: gentle cleansing, lightening and brightening.
Step 1: Change the cleansing routine – oil cleansing is a good choice in spring
As pollen season begins, the skin is exposed to particles that settle on it and can cause irritation, especially on sensitive skin. Water-based cleansers remove surface impurities, but oil cleansing binds oily dirt, pollen and street dust alike and removes them without disturbing the skin's natural protective layer.
Luonkos oil cleansing cakes were developed for exactly this: effective, waterless cleansing that does not dry the skin. Choose according to your skin type:
- Infinity – for all skin types, helps support the skin's microbiome
- Glow – for normal and ageing skin, brightening, with vitamin E
- Radiant, Rebirth or Healing – for dry, sensitive or acne-prone skin
Step 2: Add a brightening serum
After winter the skin can look dull or tired. A light, brightening serum helps – not a heavy cream.
The Luonkos Glory oil serum is designed for normal and ageing skin: it contains antioxidants that protect the skin from environmental stress. A few drops morning and evening is enough.
Remember sun protection in spring, too. UV radiation strengthens from March onwards, and it is the external factor that ages skin fastest.
Step 3: Lighten body care
Winter calls for a thicker body cream, but in spring you can move to something lighter. Luonkos body oil cakes moisturise without heaviness, absorb quickly and leave the skin soft. One product replaces a balm, an oil and a lotion.
This is the heart of skinimalism: fewer products, better results. One oil cleansing cake, one serum, one body oil cake – that is enough.
